Job Description
Role: Communications / PM/SM Expertise Level: SeniorWork Location: RemoteKey Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage integrated communications and stakeholder engagement plans for cybersecurity programs, product initiatives, and change rollouts.
- Serve as communications lead, project manager, and scrum master to drive planning, execution, adoption readiness, and delivery discipline.
- Translate complex cybersecurity, technology, risk, compliance, and delivery topics into clear messages for technical, business, and leadership audiences.
- Partner with Product Owners, delivery teams, SMEs, risk/compliance partners, and stakeholders to define scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, impacts, and readiness needs.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, team working sessions, stakeholder reviews, and decision forums to maintain alignment and momentum.
- Manage communication deliverables, project plans, backlogs, dependencies, risks, blockers, milestones, action items, and status reporting.
- Create executive updates, leadership briefings, FAQs, talking points, readiness materials, and adoption content.
- Track readiness, communication effectiveness, stakeholder engagement, adoption progress, delivery health, and mitigation actions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical, cybersecurity, risk, and delivery topics.
- Proven ability to manage communications, stakeholder engagement, project delivery, and agile team execution in parallel.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritization, dependency management, risk management, issue resolution, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Scrum, Kanban, agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to build trusted relationships across technical teams, business partners, leadership, risk, compliance, and change stakeholders.
- Experience developing executive-ready communications, leadership updates, readiness materials, FAQs, and stakeholder briefings.
- Comfortable using collaboration, project management, and communication tools such as Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Planner, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- 6+ years of experience in communications, project management, scrum master, agile delivery, change management, or a related role supporting complex technology initiatives.
- Experience operating in complex, global, interdependent, and remote/distributed team environments.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity, technology, risk, compliance, or regulated business environments preferred.
- Strong technical written and verbal English, with comfort creating documentation, executive messaging, and stakeholder-facing materials.
- Experience managing plans, backlogs, releases, dependencies, risks, issues, action items, and delivery metrics.
- Scrum Master and/or Project Management certification, such as CSM, PSM, PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent, is a plus.
