The Communications Specialist will play a key role in shaping company voice, strengthening culture, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.Why join us?Remote workCompetitive pay Room for GrowthJob DetailsKey Responsibilities:Lead and support strategic communications initiatives aligned with business objectivesTranslate technical information into engaging, easy-to-understand contentResearch, write, and publish internal and external communications across digital platformsDevelop content including social media posts, intranet stories, press releases, executive messaging, and email campaignsManage content and logistics for internal meetings and events, including in-person, hybrid, and virtual formatsOversee a weekly all-staff newsletter and maintain fresh, relevant intranet contentStoryboard, script, and develop multimedia content such as videos and podcastsEdit and refine communications drafted by internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand and strategyCollaborate with marketing and design teams to produce multimedia assetsTrack communication metrics and use data to inform improvementsIdentify opportunities to enhance communication workflows and cross-functional collaborationQualifications4–6 years of experience in internal and external communicationsExperience within the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction industry requiredExceptional writing and storytelling skills (portfolio required; journalistic experience preferred)Ability to distill complex information into clear, meaningful messagingExperience developing and executing strategic communications plansStrong project management skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently while collaborating across a remote, cross-functional teamExperience planning and executing in-person, hybrid, and virtual eventsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Stream, Teams)Proficiency in Adobe Creative CloudStrong understanding of communications trends and best practicesExperience leveraging analytics to drive decisionsLocation & CompensationThis role can be based anywhere in the US and can be either hybrid or remote.
