About the Role

This role supports the Trust & Communications team in managing media inquiries, developing clear messaging, and helping protect the company’s reputation on trust and safety issues.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a point of contact for journalists on trust and safety topics
Manage ~10 media inquiries monthly, including sensitive or crisis-related issues
Draft statements, talking points, Q&As, and internal briefs
Monitor media coverage and support crisis response
Partner with cross-functional teams (policy, legal, community support, operations) to verify facts and align messaging
Support proactive communication efforts and trust-related campaigns

What You Bring

3–6 years of experience in communications, PR, media, or related fields
Experience working directly with press
Strong writing, storytelling, and messaging skills
Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure
Good judgment, confidentiality, and problem‑solving abilities
Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working cross‑functionally

Preferred Backgrounds

Corporate communications (especially tech)
PR agencies
Newsrooms (editorial or fact-checking)
Trust & Safety or reputation management roles
Public‑facing government or nonprofit communications
