Job Type: Full time permanent position. M-Thur 7:00 AM -5:00PM

Location: Cedar Springs and surrounding counties.

Pay: $20.00-$34.00 Per hour DOE + No out-of-pocket benefit expenses! 

Job Duties:

• Responsible for developing methodologies and criteria for the installation, inspection, and documentation of structured cabling system infrastructure to include cable tray, horizontal fiber and copper cable, multi-strand fiber optic cable, and associated connectivity hardware.
• Installation of ducts and conduits, pulling cables, and terminating, testing, and repairing interior and outside copper, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling.
• Install, fusion splice, label and test optical fiber.
• Install, terminate, label and test shielded and un-shielded copper.
• Install complete data center infrastructure (Racks, PDU, CAT6, SM/MM Fiber, Patch Panels, and Labeling).
• Familiarity with common networking terms.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide resolution.
• Install audio video Components: Projectors, TVs, speakers, Etc.
• Installation of cameras and recording components.

Requirements:

• 2-3 Years previous experience with Fiber optics, installation of CCTV, Cables, Electrical components.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing.
• Ability to Pass Background Check.
• Ability to take direction and work well with others.
• Positive attitude to learn and grow your expertise with hands on training and guidance from lead Technicians.
• Attention to detail and strong written, verbal communication skills.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Fiber optics: 1 years (Required)
• Cabling / Install: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
