HDR is seeking a Community Analyst with specialized experience using Esri's ArcGIS Business Analyst (Web and Pro) and a creative ability to transform complex demographic, socioeconomic, and market data into clear, compelling insights. This role blends analytical rigor, data storytelling, geospatial thinking, visual storytelling, and a curiosity to understand the intersection of infrastructure, environment and community; helping our teams and clients make more informed decisions.
The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including planners, communication specialists, engineers, economists, and GIS professionals. A strong ability to communicate findings effectively with both technical and nontechnical partners, often across remote or distributed teams, is essential. We are looking for someone who is curious, self-driven, and eager to advance HDR's Community Analytics practice through innovation, quality, and meaningful application of Esri's technology with a focus on Business Analyst.

- Work closely with task managers and clients to define analytical needs and appropriately apply community and project data throughout a project lifecycle
- Support pursuit and marketing efforts by developing insights, graphics, and materials for proposals and presentations
- Develop repeatable workflows, templates, models, and tools that strengthen HDR's Community Analytics practice and improve project efficiency
- Collaborate with internal clients to integrate community analytics with broader mapping, engagement, and storytelling strategies
- Ensure high standards of data accuracy, documentation, and quality assurance across all community analytics deliverables
- Contribute to the expansion of Community Analytics services in emerging markets, supporting internal training, knowledge sharing, and best‑practice development
- Perform other duties as needed
