The primary focus of this role is managing the Union College Community Connections portal which links students with volunteer opportunities. This position will also support projects/events supported through the Kenney Center for Community Engagement and Outreach.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Keep Community Connections portal updated - including user profiles, group affiliations, volunteer opportunities, agency accounts, events, and initiatives.

• Responsible for extracting data from Community Connections, producing and sharing regular reports on volunteer hours for various stakeholders on and off campus.

• Support large-scale community engagement events including service days, collaborative events with local schools, and various division-wide programs.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Union College student who is eligible for work study

• Must be available to work at least one Common Hour (12:50-1:40pm) each week

• Must be attentive to detail and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Interest in data analytics and accessible reporting methods

• General proficiency in Google Workspace is required
