Job Description

The Community Liaison is an essential member of the hospital team and reports directly to the Business Development Director. This position acts as a liaison between the hospital and the professionals in the communities served by the hospital. The Community Liaison is a member of the Business Development team, and is responsible for driving the marketing and business plan of the hospital.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Business Development Director in developing and executing marketing plans and programs to ensure the profit growth and expansion of the organizations products / services
  • Assists the Director in identifying and evaluating special studies in the development of new services and programs
  • Assists the Director with external entities that influence the organization's, services, programs and facilities
  • Maintains relationships and secures competitive information on products and services in order to maintain and develop market share.
  • Acts as a resource for information regarding hospital programs, services and the admission process
  • Generates new admissions through informing potential and existing referral sources, customers and payors about Vista del Mar Hospital programs and services
  • Responsible for generating referrals by building relationships with physicians, hospitals, law enforcement, mental health professionals, educators, military personnel and other community -based organizations/ resources.
  • Develops and enhances business relationships within assigned territory
  • Responsible for creating an working from a strategic plan
  • Assists Director in designing, producing and distributing new releases, brochures, reports, etc.. for patient, employee or community consumption.
  • Upholds the organization's ethics and customer service standards.
  • Travels to various territories, including some overnight and weekend trips, conducting marketing for the hospital
  • Upholds the Organization’s ethics and customer service standards.
  • Participates in activities which enhance professional growth and development.
  • Utilize expert customer service service skills to address customer satisfaction
