WE ARE
Renewal by Andersen of Central Virginia is looking for a Community Marketing Manager to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who has strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively, utilizing personality and story telling skills, while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Communications
- Develop, write, and edit clear, engaging content for print and digital platforms, including newsletters, website content, social media, press releases, and marketing materials
- Support brand consistency across all communications and promotional materials
- Assist with media relations, including drafting media pitches, coordinating interviews, and maintaining media contact lists
- Track, measure, and report on communications metrics to assess effectiveness and inform improvements
- Deliver communications and marketing content that is impactful in terms of style and tone, adapted to various range of internal and external audiences and channels including evaluation and reviewing.
Community Engagement
- Plan and coordinate community outreach initiatives, events, and meetings to strengthen relationships with residents, partners, and stakeholders
- Serve as a point of contact for community members, responding to inquiries and directing concerns appropriately
- Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, local leaders, and other key stakeholders
- Support inclusive and culturally responsive engagement efforts that reflect community needs and perspectives
Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with internal teams to translate programs, initiatives, and outcomes into accessible and compelling communications
- Assist with engagement strategies related to organizational initiatives, campaigns, or public-facing projects
- Provide logistical and communications support for public forums, workshops, and community events
Process and Organization
- Build & document processes on SharePoint required to deliver all project requirements.
- Design and follow processes to create timing and workflow schedules for every request that comes in and enforce consequences for working outside the project system.
Knowledge, Ability, and Skills
- Exceptional communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Community Engagement, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- In-depth knowledge of best writing and messaging practices for business correspondence, public relations, advertising, marketing and sales copy and social media.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively engage with team members of all levels and across departments.
- Great project management skills, including time management, goal setting, multitasking and prioritization.
- Good data analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Advanced organizational abilities
- Ability to commute to the office daily with flexibility of telecommuting 2-3 times a week. (After the first 60-90 Days of employment)

Compensation
- $55,000 - $65,000 annual salary
- Office hours are 8:30am – 5:00 pm, unless an event is scheduled, or training on weekend and or offsite is expected.
