Visiting Angels Gettysburg is seeking a high-energy, growth-minded Community Relations Manager to lead our presence in Adams, Franklin, and Cumberland Counties.

In this role, you aren't just a salesperson—you are the heart of the agency. You will handle the relationship lifecycle from A to Z, managing the experience for both our families and our caregivers. This is a strategic leadership position designed to transition into the Agency Director role as we scale our operations.
The Opportunity: Relationship Management from A to Z
You will take ownership of the entire client and caregiver journey. From the first phone call to the first day of care and beyond, you ensure that our standards of excellence are met at every touchpoint.
The Growth Path: Upon reaching certain thresholds in weekly billable hours, you will be promoted to Assistant Director, then to Director, overseeing the full scope of the agency's regional success.
Key Responsibilities
- Inquiry Management: Take the lead on all inbound prospect calls and execute diligent follow-ups using our CRM system to ensure no family is left without answers.
- Consultations & Intakes: Meet with families in their homes to discuss care options, conduct comprehensive intakes, and convert inquiries into active care plans.
- Quality Assurance & Care Planning: Perform regular supervisory visits to check service quality, update care plans, and ensure our clients are thriving in place.
- Reputation Management: Maintain company rankings and online reputation (Google, Home Care Pulse) through proactive feedback collection.
- Caregiver Success & Training: Conduct orientations and training for newly hired caregivers, ensuring they are prepared, inspired, and aligned with our agency’s mission.
- Prompt Assignment: Take accountability for the "Matchmaking" process, promptly assigning caregivers to clients to ensure seamless starts of care.
- Community Networking: Proactively build and maintain relationships within the Gettysburg, Chambersburg, and Carlisle medical and senior communities to drive new referrals.
- Market Analysis: Conduct periodic analysis of trends and competitive positioning to update strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in Marketing/Operations in private duty home care or adjacent industries.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid state-required insurance. Must successfully complete all background checks and drug screenings.
- The "Full-Cycle" Mindset: You enjoy the variety of sales, customer service, and staff development.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM tools to track leads and manage a high-volume follow-up pipeline.
- Local Roots: Deep familiarity with the healthcare and senior service landscape in Adams, Franklin, and Cumberland Counties.
- Leadership Ambition: You are looking for a role where your performance directly leads to an executive-level promotion.
- Elite Communication: The ability to connect with a worried family member and a new caregiver with equal parts empathy and professionalism.
- Reliable Transportation: Willingness to travel throughout the three-county territory for home visits and community events.
- Technical: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, and Scheduling software.
- Soft Skills: Ability to listen and communicate diplomatically; self-motivated with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
