(Social Services) Community Social Services Technician (Part-Time)

GRADE: 62SALARY: $16.47 hourly / 16-24 hours a week DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Community Social Services Technician provides comprehensive clerical, administrative, and paraprofessional support to Adult and Children's Services staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Responsibilities include serving as a primary point of contact for clients, gathering information, directing clients to appropriate programs and staff, maintaining records, processing documentation, scheduling appointments, managing mail and electronic files, and providing transportation assistance for clients to court, medical appointments, visitations, schools, foster placements, and other community resources. The position also supports community outreach efforts, coordinates with local service providers, and assists with special projects and agency operations as needed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Significant knowledge of office procedures, customer service practices, and program support functions. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and community partners; maintain accurate records; organize and prioritize work; compose and proofread correspondence; maintain confidentiality; and use computer systems and office technology.
