Job Description
The Compliance Analyst reviews business processes, monitors for compliance risks, and supports the development and maintenance of policies aligned with governing regulations such as CPUC, FERC, and OEIS. This role involves high-level research, auditing, and data analysis to identify anomalies, mitigate risk, and ensure regulatory adherence across operations.

Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits and compliance monitoring across departments
- Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
- Perform regulatory research to stay current on laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and records
- Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory agencies
- Assist with drafting, updating, and implementing company-wide compliance policies
- Conduct employee training to promote compliance awareness
- Investigate potential compliance breaches, violations, or complaints
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
- 4–7 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with compliance or risk management software tools
