JobSummary:JoinourcompassionateanddedicatedteamasaComplianceandPrivacyOfficer(CPO),whereyouwillplayavitalroleinsafeguardingtheintegrityandcomplianceofourorganization.Yourexpertisewilldirectlycontributetoensuringadherencetofederalandstatelaws,includingHIPAA,whilefosteringacultureofethicalconduct.Inthisessentialrole,youwillcollaboratewithleadership,promotebestpractices,andsupportthemissionofhelpingothersthroughyourcommitmenttocompliance.

AsaCPO,youwillensurethatourcomplianceandprivacyprogramoperateseffectivelywithinassignedmarkets,providingatrustedresourcetostaffandleadershipalike.

KeyResponsibilities:

Workcollaborativelywithmarketleadershiptoimplementandmaintaintheenterprisecomplianceandprivacyprogramwithinanassignedmarket.
Serveastheprimarycomplianceandprivacyresourcefortheassignedmarket.
Monitorcompletionofonboardingandannualcomplianceandprivacyeducationandtrainingtostaffandleadership.
Providecompliancetrainingforstaffandleadershipasnecessary.
Assistwiththedevelopment,implementation,andmonitoringofthemarket’sadherencetoenterprisepolicies,procedures,andstandards.
Receiveandinvestigatecompliance,integrity,andprivacyconcernsinatimelymanner.
Preparetimely,comprehensivewritteninvestigationreportsdocumentingfacts,analysis,rootcause,andapplicablelaws,regulations,andorganizationalpolicies.

Education,Experience,and/orCredentialQualifications:

Bachelor’sdegreewithaminimumofthree(3)yearsofexperienceinhealthcarecompliance,regulatorycompliance,orarelatedfield;ORJurisDoctor(JD)degree.
Knowledgeofhealthcarecomplianceandprivacyregulations,includingHIPAAand42CFRPart2.
Abilitytomanageconfidentialandsensitiveinformationwithprofessionalismanddiscretion.

AdditionalQualifications:

Experienceinbehavioralhealthorsocialservicesispreferred.
Priorexperiencesupportingcomplianceinvestigations,audits,ormonitoringactivitiesispreferred.
Professionalcomplianceorprivacycertification(e.g.,CHC,CHPC)preferred.
