Job Description

Job Summary

The Compliance Risk Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating regulatory and operational risks across the organization. This role ensures that internal processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, while supporting risk management initiatives and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, track, and interpret laws and regulations affecting business operations, providing compliance guidance to functional managers.
  • Perform periodic tests, audits, and risk assessments to identify regulatory vulnerabilities within the organization.
  • Review initial reports of potential compliance violations and escalate serious issues to executive leadership as necessary.
  • Oversee and maintain the organization's Compliance Management System to ensure ongoing regulatory adherence.
  • Collaborate with teams such as security operations, legal, and finance to address risks and implement compliance solutions.
  • Track and report on regulatory updates and assess their impact on organizational processes and policies.
  • Develop, deliver, and update compliance training and awareness programs for employees.
  • Prepare and organize documentation required for regulatory reviews and external audits.
  • Support incident response activities and assist in investigations related to compliance breaches.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or audit.
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
