Join Our Team as a Senior Compliance Consultant in Oakland, CA

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic guidance and support to enhance compliance program maturity and performance.
Develop tools and solutions to improve compliance program effectiveness.
Perform compliance validation activities and assess program maturity.
Support cross-functional partners in strengthening compliance controls and processes.
Identify and address regulatory and risk concerns, recommending program updates.
Prepare executive-ready reports on compliance performance and improvements.
Lead training initiatives to educate coworkers on compliance management principles.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5 years of related experience with a steady progression of responsibilities.
Proven ability to design and lead compliance governance models.
Strong understanding of utility operations and asset management.
Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional, high-impact initiatives.

Preferences

Master's degree in engineering, economics, business administration, or a related field.
Executive communication skills with experience in high-impact presentations.
Deep knowledge of utility regulatory frameworks (e.g., CPUC, FERC, NERC, WECC).
Ability to align compliance strategy with enterprise goals.
