Join Our Team as a Senior Compliance Consultant in Oakland, CA

Embrace the opportunity to lead and participate in pivotal cross-organizational projects that enhance PG&E's Shared Services compliance infrastructure. Located in the vibrant Bay Area, this role offers a hybrid work schedule with on-site presence in Oakland three days a week. Enjoy the dynamic work environment and make a significant impact in regulatory compliance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and improve current compliance processes, providing guidance to officers and directors.
Design and implement best practice guidance, procedures, controls, and metrics.
Act as a liaison to Shared Services departments, offering support and guidance on compliance processes.
Conduct quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) key self-assessments and ensure timely completion of testing activities.
Complete utility-wide Environmental Compliance Reviews on high-risk areas.

Requirements:

5 years of experience at the senior consultant level.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Strong regulatory familiarity and expertise, with excellent compliance and risk experience in a corporate environment.
Proven ability to partner and work collaboratively as a team player.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferences:

Advanced degree.
Excellent Microsoft Visio skills.
SharePoint design and management experience.
Utility industry experience.
