Job DetailsResponsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's compliance program across all departments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Review and interpret Land Use Restriction Agreements (LURAs), Regulatory Agreements, and Extended Use Agreements.
• Track affordability periods, extended use periods, Qualified Compliance (QC) and Post-Compliance (PC) eligibility timelines.
• Maintain a portfolio-wide regulatory tracker outlining compliance periods and restriction expirations.
• Identify properties approaching regulatory expiration or PC eligibility and communicate timelines to leadership.
• Regularly review company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
• Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance within the company.
• Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
• Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously.
• Revise procedures, reports, etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
• Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
• Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Compliance Manager, Compliance Officer, or similar role.
• Experience with the following certifications or equivalent work experience: HCCP, SCHM, NPCC, TaCCs.
• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
• A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
• Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
• An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with confidential information.
• Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) certification is a plus.
