Job Description
Role: Compliance Officer Location: Tallahassee, FL 32399Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Professional office, business casual, cubicle
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contact constituents/complainants to discuss the details of the complaints that are filed.
- Read state statute and compare it with complaints to analyze the issue.
- Communicating with the public, so good customer service skills are a MUST.
- Advise complainant of the Division's jurisdiction and that the case is being closed and for what reason.
- Provide any resources or referrals, as appropriate.
- Send a written correspondence to the complainant once approved by the supervisor.
- Close the case out by adding the appropriate codes/activities/statues in Versa.
- Document the actions in the OnBase system.
- Communicate appropriately, both verbally and in writing.
- Read and interpret Florida statutes
- Previous experience working with the public in a professional environment
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Commit to the project time line
