Job Description
Times Microwave Systems is seeking a motivated Compliance Operations Intern to support our Business Operations team. This internship provides hands-on experience in compliance, contract coordination, and intellectual property support within a global manufacturing environment.
The intern will assist with maintaining the company’s intellectual property portfolio, supporting legal documentation processes, and contributing to contract management efforts across commercial, U.S. Government (USG), and international business activities. This is an excellent opportunity for students or early-career professionals interested in legal operations, compliance, or business administration. This is a full time, on-site summer internship in Wallingford, CT.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, review, and tracking of legal documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), certifications/representations, general business terms, and purchase order contracts
- Support the management of the company’s trademark portfolio, including monitoring third-party brand registry platforms
- Help coordinate trademark registrations across multiple product lines
- Conduct basic research on potential trademark infringements and assist in tracking enforcement activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support internal compliance processes and documentation workflows
- Provide administrative support for internal contract review and approval processes
- Assist in responding to contract-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and customers
- Help maintain organized and confidential records of compliance and legal documentation
Qualifications/Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Interest in compliance, legal operations, or contract management
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
