We are looking for a Compliance Training Specialist to be responsible for independently coordinating,delivering, and administering required training for staff, contractors, stakeholders, and the community. This role serves as a primary trainer for the organization’s approved courses and plays a critical role in maintaining training quality, compliance, and learner engagement. Additional responsibilities may include creating and improving training courses, collaborating across departments to refine training processes, and related administrative duties.

📍LOCATION: 100% in-office (Main Office will be in Glendale + travel to other locations in Phoenix, Chandler, Mesa, and Avondale, as needed) 💰PAY: The starting range is $24-$28/hour (based on experience) + Scheduled Raise Program up to 2x/year + mileage reimbursement program🕒SCHEDULE: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm + a one-hour lunch, some evenings/weekend hours as neededThis might be a great fit for you if you consider yourself a highly organized people-person and you:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Collaborate with the Administrative, Operations and Program Teams to identify training needs throughout the organization for certifications/trainings which include, but are not limited to Article 9, PROUD (formerly Prevention & Support Training), Direct Care Worker training, CPR, First Aid, etc. 

  • Coordinate and host effective & engaging in-person/online trainings, using a variety of instructional techniques 

  • Assist with administrative systems and processes associated with training delivery and tracking (i.e., TalentLMS, Relias, Central Reach, SpokeChoice)

  • Create training materials such as Power Point presentations, videos, handouts, etc.  

  • Manage training supplies including identification of needs, storage, transportation, setup, and tear-down 

  • Ensure compliance with training and testing standards as prescribed by funding sources 

  • Manage LMS (Learning Management System(s)), including but not limited to, updating content, managing automatic notifications for course assignments, certificate generation, reminders, etc.

  • Monitor and maintain appropriate reporting for system capacity, compliance levels, attendance, pass rates, etc. 

  • Implement training budget; maintain records and reports of expenses 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates degree OR equivalent work experience + High School Diploma or GED required 
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience providing direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in teaching groups of adults  
  • Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, oral and written and oral presentation
  • Strong familiarity with Windows & MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Must be willing to learn or have experience using Learning Management Systems (LMSs) and other databases 
  • Reliable transportation that allows for the transportation of necessary materials throughout Maricopa County
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a PLUS
  • Must be able to successfully pass a Fingerprint Clearance check, and other related hiring requirements
