Job Description

CT Technologist - 3rd Shift (19:00 to 07:00)

Position Summary: The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment. This role supports patient care by producing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Core Responsibilities:

Operate CT imaging equipment to perform scans as ordered by physicians.
Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their safety.
Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images.
Maintain imaging equipment and ensure proper functioning.
Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to review images and assist in diagnosis.

Qualifications:

Specific Educational/Vocational Requirements:

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
Experience and training in computed tomography (CT) imaging.

Job Skills:

Proficient in operating CT scanners and related imaging technology.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
