Job Description
Component Rework / Touch-Up Operator (SMT)TMD Staffing is Hiring!
Location: Pflugerville, TXPay: $18.00 per hourSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Requirements:
- Must pass all pre-employment requirements, including a Background Check and Drug Screen.
- Previous experience with electronic rework, soldering, or repair preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret bills of materials, assembly drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects and non-conforming products.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
- Experience using soldering equipment, hot air rework stations, magnification devices, and testing equipment preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform rework and repair of electronic assemblies to meet customer and quality standards.
- Remove, replace, and repair electronic components, solder joints, traces, pads, and solder mask defects.
- Operate rework and repair equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect products to verify compliance with specifications and workmanship standards.
- Complete required quality and production documentation accurately.
- Support production and quality departments as needed.
- Assist with training and continuous improvement initiatives when assigned.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
