Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Computer Operator to support data analysis and operational activities for our client. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, has strong analytical skills, and can maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Analyze and review incoming traffic count data for completeness and accuracy
- Assess validity of results based on historical and nearby traffic data patterns
- Utilize the Traffic Monitoring Bureau’s Drakewell software to review and evaluate traffic data
- Use software tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Maps/Earth, GIS, and WinZip
- Make independent decisions regarding the quality and acceptability of data received from contractors
- Collaborate within a team environment where clear and effective communication is essential
- Manage files and communications using Email and Windows Explorer
- Maintain detailed and accurate records, both written and electronic
- Prepare letters and tables to communicate acceptance or rejection of traffic data to contractors
- Address and manage disputes or challenges from contractors regarding rejected data and related payments
- Perform database management, data entry, and other assigned operational tasks
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience working with data analysis, data entry, or similar computer-based roles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in data
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions based on data review
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with GIS or traffic data systems such as Drakewell
- Familiarity with data validation, quality control, or similar processes
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities

Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
