Computer Repair Technician Description:

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues across desktops, laptops, servers, and peripheral devices
Perform component-level repairs including soldering, desoldering, and replacing surface mount components (resistors, capacitors, etc.)
Disassemble and reassemble computer systems and devices using precision tools
Install, configure, and upgrade hardware components and peripherals
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure long-term system performance
Test and audit systems to verify functionality and optimize performance
Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, maintenance, and inventory
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and peripherals
Minimum 2+ years of experience in electronic or computer repair (Apple or Windows systems preferred)
Experience with soldering and hot air rework stations highly preferred
CompTIA A+ certification (preferred)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for working with small components
Ability to lift 2540 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
