Computer Support Associate
Location: Orlando, FL | Duration: 2 Years | Schedule: 1st Shift, Onsite
Role Overview: Provide onsite Tier 2 deskside IT support at the John Deere Commons location and remote Training/Demo sites across the U.S., including up to 25% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 2 desktop/deskside support and resolve end-user issues/tickets through ServiceNow.
- Image/deploy computers, troubleshoot hardware/software, and support printers/peripherals.
- Follow KB articles, standard procedures, and documented solutions for troubleshooting.
- Maintain IT assets, inventory, records, process logs, and equipment using Asset Center/asset management tools.
- Support Microsoft Office, intranet/internet, desktop applications, and basic networking.
- Handle equipment maintenance, supplies, shipping, and standard IT/facilities requests.
- Identify issues outside established procedures and escalate appropriately.
- Follow IT security policies and basic security practices.
- Travel to remote Deere Training/Demo sites across the U.S. as needed (up to 25%).
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ year IT/Desktop Support experience preferred; recent graduates considered.
- Knowledge of computing, networking, hardware/software troubleshooting, and IT security.
- Experience with ServiceNow/ticketing systems, computer imaging, printers, Microsoft Office, and asset management preferred.
- Strong documentation, communication, and customer-service skills.
- IT-related degree or equivalent experience; High School diploma required.
- Must be comfortable working 100% onsite and traveling up to 25%.
