Job Description
Job Title: Computer Support AssociateLocation: Johnston, IA 50322 (Onsite)Duration: 2+ Year ContractShift: 1st Shift (Approx. 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, flexible)Schedule: 40 hours/week
Role Overview: Provide onsite IT support for end-user devices and workplace technology. The role focuses on hardware/software break-fix support, device deployments, troubleshooting, and ensuring a reliable technology environment for users.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide deskside support for laptops, desktops, peripherals, operating systems, and approved software.
Perform break-fix troubleshooting and resolve incidents from ServiceNow tickets.
Support conference rooms and collaboration tools (displays, cameras, microphones, MTR systems).
Handle computer deployments, imaging, configuration, and device refreshes.
Manage IT assets including receiving, tagging, inventory updates, and disposal.
Provide printer and peripheral support and coordinate with vendors when needed.
Document issues, resolutions, and updates in ServiceNow and asset systems.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of IT support or desktop support experience (recent graduates considered).
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and peripherals.
Experience troubleshooting using knowledge base articles or documented processes.
Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred).
Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
Ability to lift 25–30 lbs to move equipment.
