Work Schedule
- 1st Shift, onsite
- Flexible start between 7:00-8:00 AM and end between 5:00-6:00 PM
- Limited travel to other Quad City locations may be required (less than 5%)
Compensation
$25.00 per hour

Position Overview
The Computer Support Associate I will provide onsite deskside Tier 2 IT support at John Deere’s World Headquarters. The role supports stable, well-documented IT processes with a focus on end user support, asset management, and conference room/AV support.
This position is well suited for early career IT professionals or recent college graduates seeking hands-on experience in a large enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite deskside Tier 2 technical support to end users
- Image, deploy, and configure desktop and laptop systems
- Resolve ServiceNow tickets by following established knowledge base articles
- Support and troubleshoot conference rooms and AV equipment
- Replace printer consumables such as toner and pickup rollers
- Update and maintain IT assets in asset management systems
- Dispose of obsolete or decommissioned equipment
- Create and maintain basic documentation including contact lists, logs, and incident records
- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and coordinate routine equipment maintenance
- Identify process issues and resolve them using predefined procedures
- Escalate issues that fall outside documented solutions
- Apply basic technical knowledge to support daily IT operations
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of computing and networking fundamentals
- Hands-on AV and conference room support experience (required)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard desktop environments
- Experience using intranet and internet-based applications
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Understanding of computer security policies and general security concepts
Experience Requirements
- 1+ year of IT support experience preferred
- Recent college graduates will be considered
