Position Summary
Teksouth is seeking a Computer Systems Engineer / Architect to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in a client-facing role within a Financial Management environment. This position focuses on application design, administration, and maintenance in support of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) systems.
The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and enhancing enterprise applications, automating business processes, and delivering data-driven insights through reporting and analytics. This role requires strong technical expertise, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to support mission-critical financial systems, with a focus on modernizing Oracle Hyperion-based environments and supporting migration efforts to OneStream.
Responsibilities
- Support modernization efforts, including migration from Oracle Hyperion to OneStream, leveraging custom development and integration solutions
Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise applications
Perform application administration and ongoing system maintenance
Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and procedures for software solutions
Automate business processes and improve system efficiency
Develop dashboards, reports, and data analytics solutions
Provide functional support, training, and user guidance
Prepare and maintain system documentation and user guides
Support PPBE system functionality within a financial management environment
Collaborate with IT and functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities as required
Skills Required
Active Secret clearance required
- CompTIA Security+ certification required
- 10+ years of experience designing and developing solutions to complex application problems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Recent experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Strong experience with Oracle Hyperion (EPM) is highly preferred, including Essbase and Planning/Financial Management modules
Experience with or exposure to OneStream is preferred, particularly in the context of system modernization or migration efforts
Experience with C# development to support integrations, automation, or migration activities
Strong understanding of application development, system integration, and data analytics
Ability to communicate effectively in a client-facing environment
