Job Description

Abacus Solutions Group is currently recruiting for a 1st shift and 2nd shift Computer Technician for a large warehouse in North Las Vegas. These roles will begin on a temporary basis.

Shifts:

4:00am- 2:30pm

4:00pm- 2:30am

Role Summary:

The responsibility of Computer Tech is to assist the various warehouses with maintaining and upgrading computer systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and installation.

Responsibilities:

Managing a SALT server
Helping DTS and B2C with orders in SALT
Fixing errors that appear in error folders
Checking health and memory space on servers
Running various reports
Create labels using ZPL coding
Search backend for information on orders.
Submitting support tickets
Maintain an inventory of computer equipment, including monitors, keyboards, hard drives, and printers.
Respond to calls, pages, and emails about computer issues, and explain technical problems to users in non-technical terms
Gather, analyze, and process information to identify and resolve issues
Provide training and support to users on how to use computer equipment and software

Qualifications:

Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency, resourceful and adaptability
Sharp attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Able to stand and walk around for up to 12 hours at a time
Ability to communicate effectively in English is preferred.
