Position: Concession Worker II - Golf Course 

Reports to: Athletic Supervisor

Salary Range: $15.35-16.95/hour

SUMMARY: Prepares and sells concessions to patrons in a polite and efficient manner (serve alcohol).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Prepares food items so that sufficient quantities are available for patrons and served at the appropriate temperature.
2. Cleans concession facility including food preparation area, eating areas, appliances, counters and floors to ensure strict cleanliness standards are met.
3. Assist patrons in a professional and polite manner during any situation.
4. Using an automated cash register, correctly total food order, receives patron cash and accurately provide change so that the cash register accurately reflects the day's business.
5. Ensures that the concession area is properly stocked with supplies and obtains sufficient supplies to meet the needs of the work shift.
6. Complete product inventory, bi-weekly.
7. Serve alcoholic beverages to patrons that are at least 21 years of age, and not visibly intoxicated.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 21 years of age with a High School diploma.

Prefer some experience with a cash register or handling money.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Mental: Able to work with a wide variety of people through varying circumstances. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately. Able to concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to work independently and follow both oral and written instructions. Communicates clearly verbally. Remains calm in difficult situations. Can effectively organize and prioritize work.

Physical: Must be able to stand for extensive periods of time. Ability to lift boxes of food supplies up to 20 pounds and manual dexterity to operate basic concessions equipment.

Works in cooled/heated building with other staff members.
