Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Concessions Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Concessions Supervisor in the administration of the District’s concessions operations. This includes coordination of operations and staffing, monitoring and stocking inventory, and ensuring proper policies and procedures are followed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
Experience in food industry preferred.
ServSafe Certified Food Protection Manager certification required; if not currently certified, certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
This position requires the incumbent to have the ability to frequently interact with staff and the public, remain flexible, and be proactive and able to manage competing priorities in a timely manner.
Ability to supervise others, ability to work independently with little or no supervision, and being well organized are a must.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel, is required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, with prolonged periods of physical activity and driving to various locations throughout the District’s facilities. The physical demands representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job are as follows: standing, bending, twisting, stooping/kneeling, pushing/pulling, driving, and lifting, carrying, and holding large or heavy items with or without assistance.
