Job Description

About the Role: Beck Construction & Excavation is looking for a dependable concrete finisher to join our field crew. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on concrete experience who takes pride in their work and is continuing to build their skills. While concrete is the primary responsibility, Beck Construction & Excavation is a full excavation and site development company. This is a working crew position, and team members are expected to assist with other field tasks when concrete work is not scheduled. What You’ll Do:

Assist with site prep for concrete work, including grading, base prep, and layout support.
Set and strip concrete forms for sidewalks, curbs, slabs, and other flatwork.
Place, level, and finish concrete (broom, trowel, and other basic finishes).
Follow grade stakes and direction to support proper slope and drainage.
Work alongside the foreman and crew to keep jobs moving efficiently.
Support general excavation and site work when concrete is not scheduled.

What We’re Looking For:

Around 2+ years of concrete or construction experience.
Experience with finishing tools (trowels, floats, edgers, etc.).
Ability to follow grade and slope direction (not required to run it solo).
Willing to work as part of a team and jump in where needed.
Reliable, shows up ready to work, and takes pride in doing things right.

Nice to Have:

Experience reading grade independently.
Own finishing tools.
