Job Description

Concrete Foreman / Crew Leader – Civil Construction

This position is located in Elko, NV and is open to relocation

A respected civil contractor with a reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure and site development projects, is looking to add a Concrete Foreman to their growing team. This position is based in the Mountain West and requires regional travel. The ideal candidate will take ownership of daily field execution, leading concrete crews while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day activities of concrete crews on active construction sites
  • Oversee site preparation, formwork installation, concrete placement, and finishing operations
  • Verify that completed work aligns with project plans, specifications, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with project leadership to maintain production goals and project timelines
  • Promote and enforce jobsite safety policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and hands-on support to crew members in the field
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and material resources to maximize efficiency and productivity

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of field experience in concrete construction within the civil industry
  • Demonstrated success leading crews and overseeing field operations
  • Strong understanding of concrete placement, grading, finishing, and related construction practices
  • Ability to interpret project requirements and uphold quality standards throughout execution
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the region as project needs require

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large civil, infrastructure, or heavy construction projects
  • Background supervising multiple crews or managing work across complex project environments
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling platforms, daily reporting systems, or project tracking tools

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $35-$45 per hour, plus substantial overtime opportunities
  • Travel: Fully covered (company truck/pickup, gas, per diem)
  • Performance-driven bonus program with strong upside potential
  • Expected annual earnings between $85,000 and $115,000+
