Job Description
Configuration Analyst II Maple Grove MN Contract - 1st Shift, 9/80 Pay Rate: $50.09/Hr. Benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401kREQUIREMENTS: Configuration Analyst II
- Technical associate's degree or 4 years Configuration Management experience.*
- 2 years' work experience*
- Experience using a Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) database*
- Good computer skills with MS Office suite to prepare appropriate metrics, reports and documents*
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing*
- Attention to detail, coupled with good time management and organization skills*
- Sound interpersonal skills for interfacing and coordinating with company personnel, customers, and suppliers,
- Join a team responsible for performing Hardware Configuration Management (CM) activities related to the design, development, and production of complex systems in a defense environment.*
- Manage changes to approved configurations using a systematic measurable change process, delivering and maintaining the engineering technical data package (TDP), and applying CM processes in accordance with the CM Plan.*
- Support configuration management and quality audits*
- Develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity, using guidance from company policies and procedures.
- STEM bachelor's degree or 8 years Configuration Management experience.*
- DoD experience preferred*
- PTC Windchill experience preferred*
- Experience applying industry standards and meeting government requirements*
- General knowledge of relevant configuration management and design engineering standards, manufacturing processes and documentation including military standards MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-31000, industry CM standard EIA-649, and Drawing standards ASME Y14.24 and ASME Y14.100*
- Formal training in Configuration Data Management (CDM)*
- MS Excel advanced user knowledge of complex formulas*
- Experience managing BOM structures*
- Familiarity with CMMI requirements desirable
