Overview
Job Description
- Collects, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft and product programs.
- Maintains configuration control of acquisition products and data.
- Tracks configuration changes.
- Coordinates and supports the development of Engineering Change Proposals.
- Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with large and diverse teams.
- Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
- Ability to adapt to evolving technology
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Technical, or other related discipline.
- In lieu of a Bachelor degree an Associates degree plus two (2) years of additional work experience may be substituted.
- In lieu of an Associates degree, and additional four (4) years of work experience may be substituted.
- Three (3) to seven (7) years of configuration management experience.
- Experience working with aviation and ship systems and subsystems, ancillary equipment, and ground support equipment development, testing, production, and operational use.
- Knowledge of DoD and NAVAIR configuration management policies, procedures, review cycles, instructions, and standards; engineering change proposal evaluations.
