Job DetailsJob Details:Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Configuration Management Specialist to join our dynamic Engineering team. The ideal candidate is responsible for daily activities and operations in configuration control for documentation, systems, and processes within engineering. The candidate must be a US citizen or permanent resident. The ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance or holding a security clearance is an advantage.Responsibilities:1. Oversee and manage the configuration processes and systems, ensuring their efficient and effective operation.2. Implement and maintain the company's PLM system and configuration management software.3. Develop and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products and projects.4. Coordinate with the Change Control Board (CCB) to manage and implement changes in the configuration process.5. Ensure all configuration documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company standards and industry regulations.6. Collaborate with various departments (such as design, production, and quality assurance) to ensure configuration processes align with overall company objectives.7. Provide technical support and training to team members on configuration processes and systems.8. Identify and implement improvements in configuration processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.9. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with configuration management policies and procedures.Qualifications:1. Experience in configuration management in a design or manufacturing environment.2. Proven experience in managing and implementing configuration processes and systems.3. Proficiency in PLM systems and configuration management software is a plus.4. In-depth knowledge of BOM and experience in coordinating with the Change Control Board (CCB).5.
