Configuration Manager

Diligent provides information systems development and production services necessary to support the Air Force Sustainment at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex/ Plans and Programs Directorate (OC-ALX/SC) requirements.  We support existing and future hosted customer, Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) software applications and  hardware and infrastructure including dependent data systems and remotely hosted applications.  The systems being supported are in the development, test, production, and sustainment environments.  The Diligent Team at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma is seeking a motivated and driven junior to mid-level Configuration Manager looking to significantly grow their career.  Activities include, but are not limited to, baseline identification, configuration and/or change control, status accounting, and auditing. CM oversees an average of 25 - 30 customer work requests per business day.The CM team provides ticketing system and work order (WO) support from 0600 - 1800, Monday – Friday.• Create, maintain, and provide procedural documentation showing how HW/SW configurations are designed, deployed, modified, and sustained via techniques and tools utilized within SC. This shall include maintenance of current information on deployed systems so that support, with a specific understanding of the functional environment, can be provided, to include (but not limited to) system architecture diagrams.• All work requests received via ticketing and WO systems/ASX Remedy Distribution List or direct from customers shall be routed through the proper CM process.• Generate documentation of the requested modifications to be retained afterwards for historical recordkeeping.• Coordinate and process CRs for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, deployments, commissions and decommissions.• Coordinate and schedule all maintenance activities.• Maintain lifecycle management of all HW/SW utilizing available tools.• Ensure all changes made to the production environment (excluding data adjustments or break fixes) are routed through the Configuration Control Board (CCB).• Provide system downtime and outage notification to all designated points of contact per local policies.• Generate CCB Agenda, which documents all requests for changes in the production environment, and is sent daily to SC leadership/SME for review.• Maintain items on the SC maintenance calendar.
