CONSTRUCTION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Location: Tampa, FL
HYBRID
Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 law firm, is seeking a motivated mid-level Associate Attorney to join its expanding Construction Litigation Practice in Tampa. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney to take on meaningful responsibility, work with a diverse client base, and gain hands-on experience in high-stakes construction disputes in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
- 4–5 years of substantive construction litigation experience, with a focus on personal injury matters
- Demonstrated experience drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
- Experience handling discovery processes and depositions
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a client-service mindset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in construction litigation matters, including contract disputes, defect claims, and delay-related litigation
- Draft sophisticated litigation-related documents with precision and strategic insight
- Manage discovery, including document review, depositions, and expert witness coordination
- Conduct legal research and case analysis to develop effective litigation strategies
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $175,000-$180,000, as determined by experience and market factors
