Client Details
Our client is a mid‑sized commercial interiors general contractor with a strong footprint across the NYC metro area. They're known for their organized approach, collaborative culture, and consistent pipeline of office, retail, and tenant‑improvement interiors for repeat clients.Description
- Lead all onsite activities for commercial interior projects from mobilization through closeout.
- Ensure full compliance with NYC DOB regulations, inspections, safety standards, and documentation.
- Manage subcontractors, schedules, site logistics, and sequencing of interior trades.
- Maintain daily reports, coordinate inspections, and drive quality control and punchlists.
- Work closely with Project Managers and ownership teams to keep projects on schedule and on point.
Profile
A successful DOB Superintendent should have:
- Active NYC DOB Superintendent License (required).
- Proven experience supervising commercial interior projects (office, retail, TI).
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes, inspections, and permitting processes.
- Confident leader with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Organized, detail‑driven, and proud of running safe, efficient, professional job sites.
