Job DetailsResponsibilities

• * Handle all phases of construction litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation
• * Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and related agreements
• * Represent clients in matters involving: Construction defects, Delay and disruption claims, Payment disputes, Mechanics liens, Breach of contract claims, Insurance and indemnity issues
• * Provide strategic legal counsel and risk management guidance to clients
• * Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, and briefs
• * Manage case files and maintain strong client communication throughout the litigation process
• * Collaborate with partners, associates, experts, and consultants on complex matters

Qualifications

• * Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• * Active membership in the Florida Bar
• * 3+ years of construction law and/or commercial litigation experience preferred
• * Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• * Experience with depositions, hearings, and dispute resolution processes
• * Familiarity with Florida construction law, lien law, and AIA contract documents preferred
• * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment

• * Construction defect litigation experience
• * Arbitration and mediation experience
• * Strong client relationship and business development skills
• * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
