Construction Chipboard InstallerStart your next career in Aurora, NE, as a Chipboard Installer, working in a modular home production facility to install and secure chipboard assemblies according to construction specifications. This hands-on role involves measuring, positioning, and fastening materials in a fast-paced production environment where teamwork, accuracy, and safety are essential to ensure each home section is properly built, aligned, and structurally sound.Job Duties
- Install chipboard (OSB/engineered wood panels) on floor, wall, or roof assemblies according to construction specifications
- Measure, cut, and position panels for proper fit and alignment
- Secure chipboard using pneumatic nail guns, staples, or other fastening tools
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and layout instructions
- Assist in framing and assembly of modular home sections as part of the production line
- Ensure panels are properly aligned, flush, and securely fastened to structural framing
- Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures
- Lift, carry, and position building materials as needed throughout the shift
