• Salary is based on experience and can vary greatly. We are using 160k as the base salary.
• Kaiser plan – Company pays for 100% of the premium and employee is responsible for the co-pay. This is for the employee, spouse, and dependents until they turn 26.

Job DetailsKey Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight: Manage the accounting department and ensure the accuracy of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to upper management, highlighting the company's financial health and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the company’s budget, ensuring that expenses align with projected revenues and financial goals.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Team Leadership: Supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations and professional development.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions, providing financial insights to support decision-making.

Required QualificationsEducation

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Experience

• Must have Controller experience working with another General Contractor or Subcontractor.
• At least 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or finance, with a strong background in financial reporting and management
• Strong analytical skills and financial quarterly reporting
• Attention to detail
• Leadership abilities with experience managing a team
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems
