Primary Job Title: Construction Coordinator Alternate / Related Job Titles: • Construction Project Coordinator • EPC Construction Coordinator • Field Construction Coordinator • Construction Management Coordinator • Project Controls Coordinator Location & Onsite Flexibility: Englewood, CO — 100% Onsite Travel required within Colorado 1–3 days at a time, approximately 1–2 times per month Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: Approximately 11 months Start: As Soon As Possible Pay Rate:$40.00 – $48.00/hr Position Summary The Construction Coordinator supports the execution of Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC), construction management, and program management projects. This role assists with safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, procurement, documentation, and field-based activities across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. Projects span multiple industries including aviation, commercial buildings, electrical transmission & distribution, facilities, manufacturing, oil & gas, power generation, process, and water. The role works closely with Project Management teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities Support project safety, quality, schedule, and cost control activities Assist with client relationship development and interface on proposal and project-related items Support execution of prime contracts, downstream contracts, and change orders Assist in developing and implementing project plans including Project Execution, Quality Assurance, Safety & Health, Procurement, Staffing, and Subcontracting Plans Coordinate jobsite setup, mobilization and demobilization activities Assist with securing required project permits Coordinate supplier and subcontractor registration and pre-qualification Support RFP development, bid evaluation, and scope of work documentation Assist with contract administration including RFIs, submittals, change management, and claims mitigation Support project controls, including cost reporting, scheduling, WBS setup, field progress tracking, and system closeout Prepare internal and external reports such as budgets, cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and project status updates Participate in project, corporate, and risk review meetings; record and distribute meeting minutes Conduct safety, quality, progress, and financial audits as required Assist with prime contract, subcontractor, and supplier invoicing Maintain project documentation, filing systems, and turnover records Support onboarding of craft and field supervision Analyze crew rates, labor burdens, craft classifications, benefits, and labor law impacts Assist with staffing, estimating, forecasting, earned value, scheduling, and cost metrics Coordinate construction equipment to ensure adequate inventory Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all company policies and standards Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage large workloads in a fast-paced environment Must meet company driving requirements Preferred Knowledge of document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software Experience supporting EPC or construction management projects Familiarity with labor classifications, benefits, and craft progression tracking Benefits Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401(k) Retirement Fund About the Company An established infrastructure engineering firm that designs and builds essential infrastructure for cities.
