Job Details100% Remote – Candidates may reside anywhere in the U.S.Active California Bar + Recent California Experience RequiredWe are actively seeking a Construction Defect Defense Attorney with strong litigation experience to join our team. This is an urgent need for an attorney who can step into a busy caseload and contribute immediately. This role will focus primarily on construction defect defense, with additional exposure to personal injury and general liability matters. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing CD cases and is comfortable handling matters from inception through resolution.Responsibilities:

• * Manage a caseload of construction defect and personal injury defense matters
• * Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs
• * Handle written discovery and depositions
• * Work closely with clients, insurance carriers, and experts
• * Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
• * Develop case strategy and manage files independently
• * Collaborate with a strong team of attorneys and litigation support staff
• * 1800 billable requirement with strong support staff and efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• * 3+ years of Construction Defect experience (DEFENSE REQUIRED)
• * Additional experience in insurance defense / personal injury defense
• * Active California Bar license in good standing
• * Recent California litigation experience required
• * Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and court systems
• * Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
