The Construction Draw Loan Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of the construction draw and conversion process for residential construction loans. This role ensures timely and accurate draw administration, maintains compliance with regulatory and underwriting guidelines, and provides exceptional service to borrowers and internal partners throughout the construction and conversion lifecycle.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 9:00am- 5:00pm
In this position, you will
- Manage a pipeline of residential construction loans, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of draw requests through the full interest‑only construction phase.
- Order, review, and reconcile inspection reports; identify discrepancies; and resolve issues while maintaining clear status updates to all stakeholders.
- Maintain consistent communication with borrowers, builders, originators, the Appraisal Management Company (AMC), and Servicing, providing exceptional customer service and proactive issue resolution.
- Perform accurate documentation management and system maintenance, report generation, and preparation of loan advances and wire requests. Must comply with and meet all requirements regarding the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act, 12 CFR 365)
- Facilitate construction‑to‑permanent loan conversions by guiding borrowers, preparing required documentation, calculating payments, and coordinating with Servicing for final loan setup.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and time‑management skills while working independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment to support departmental goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
GED (Required), High School (Required)
Any equivalent combination of experience and education. | RequiredMinimum 1 year construction draw lending, lending/loan administration, mortgage servicing | Required
