If you bring a passion for 5-star customer service and a reliable work ethic, we will provide the comprehensive training, tools, and generous benefits to help you thrive.

The Role

As our Field Operations Assistant you are the engine that keeps daily projects running smoothly! In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with multiple teams across the company, gaining hands-on experience and building a solid foundation for a long-term career in the construction industry.    This is a part-time role, primarily Monday-Friday with some Saturday hours averaging 20-25 hours per week (with benefits - see below!).

  • Task Management: Utilizing our internal ticketing system to track, prioritize, and complete daily service requests.
  • Fleet Prep: Preparing and maintaining company fleet trucks for the day's operations.
  • Job Site Support: Driving company vehicles to active job sites to deliver materials, drop off permits, and capture project progress photos.
  • Inventory Control: Collecting unused materials from completed jobs and securely processing returns and picking up materials from vendors.
  • Site Safety & Cleanup: Conducting pre- and final post-project sweeps (including running magnetic sweepers to clear nails and debris) to ensure a safe, clean environment for our customers.
  • Customer Service: Acting as a professional face of the company while interacting with homeowners and securely picking up final payments.

The Requirements

To be successful in this active, field-based role, you must meet the following baseline requirements:

  • Driving Credentials: A valid driver’s license and the ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening and criminal background check.
  • Physical Capability: The physical stamina to safely lift, carry, and maneuver construction materials weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Outdoor Adaptability: A willingness to work actively outdoors and thrive in various seasonal weather conditions.
  • Flexibility & Hustle: A "get the job done" mentality, which includes the willingness to work occasional non-traditional hours (such as evenings or weekends) when needed to support the team.
  • Occasional Travel: The ability to occasionally travel to company training events or assist at other regional offices as needed.

The Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant Experience: 1-2 years of steady work experience in a hands-on, mobile, or logistics-based role (such as delivery driving, warehouse operations, property maintenance, landscaping, or field customer service).
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using mobile apps, basic software, or internal ticketing systems to track daily tasks and manage a schedule.
  • Customer-Facing Skills: Previous experience in a customer service role is highly preferred; you must be able to represent the company professionally when interacting directly with our customers.
  • Track Record of Reliability: A proven history of good attendance, independent time management, and working safely with minimal direct supervision.
  • Values Alignment: Core values such as safety, integrity, individual responsibility, and quality workmanship resonate with you.
  • Problem Solver: You are a self-motivated go-getter who can think on your feet and overcome minor obstacles in the field.

The Benefits

  • Company vehicle program
  • 9 paid holidays per year
  • Monthly communication stipend
  • Robust technology and tools to help you thrive in your role
  • Paid Time Off (up to 40 hours per year depending on hours worked)
