Job overview
We're seeking an experienced Mechanic to maintain and repair our construction equipment and company fleet. As a key member of our team, you'll perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on various equipment and vehicles ensuring they run safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on construction equipment
- Diesel and gas engine diagnostics and repairs with computer diagnostics
- Document repairs and maintenance
- Order parts when needed
- Complete inspections, logs and fuel reports
Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics of electrical and hydraulics
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record. CDL A or B Preferred but not required.
- Make practical decisions on repairing or replacing components
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Technical degree or 1-3 years' experience or extensive mechanical ability
- Knowledge of job-specific safety practices
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 occasionally
- Physically able to stand, sit, walk, and bend on hard surfaces for long periods
- Maneuver on or around equipment

Special Requirements: Must be able to pass controlled substance tests prior to, and at all times, during employment.
