This opportunity is with a well‑established, mid‑sized contractor known for delivering high‑quality MTA/ADA construction projects and maintaining a strong, professional field environment. We're seeking a Field Engineer eager to contribute to impactful transit upgrades across New York.Description
- Oversee daily on‑site construction activities, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and MTA/ADA requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and agency stakeholders to maintain schedule and workflow continuity.
- Conduct routine site inspections, identify issues, and implement timely solutions to keep work moving.
- Prepare accurate reports, documentation, and progress updates for compliance and project tracking.
- Ensure proper use, safety, and maintenance of construction equipment and tools.
- Monitor budgets, labor, and materials to support efficient resource management.
- Collaborate with the design team to resolve technical challenges and support field implementation.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with clients and stakeholders regarding milestones and project status.

Profile
A successful Field Engineer should have:
- Proven experience in the property industry, particularly in construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction principles, safety protocols, and project management.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams.
- A degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
