Job Description

Construction Floor Decking Layout Start your next career in Aurora, NE as a Floor Decking Installer, helping with layout, mark, cut, and install floorboards and decking materials for modular home units according to required specifications. This hands-on role works in a production environment where precision, teamwork, and safety are essential to ensure each floor system is properly built and ready for the next stage of construction.Job Duties
  • Perform construction and assembly of the floor sub-assembly in accordance with required specifications.  
  • Build side boards, locate measurements for joists, and waterline location. 
  • Layout floor joists by removing them from the rolling cart. 
  • Attach joists to sideboards. 
  • Attach a 2x3 ledger board and hangers.  
  • Cross measure to verify the floor is square.
