Job Description

U.S. Water Services Corporation is a well-established and diverse water and wastewater utility organization specializing in utility maintenance, operations, engineering and construction services. U.S. Water is a fast paced and rapidly expanding company headquartered in New Port Richey, Florida with a staff of over 950 employees in twenty states.

A Construction Foreman supervises construction crews, coordinates daily job site activities, and ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. They act as the link between project managers and field workers.

Requirements

  • Must have lift station experience
  • Must have water/wastewater facility rehab experience
  • Must have 5 plus years of recent experience
  • Must have previous leadership and team management skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate construction workers and subcontractors
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
  • Schedule daily tasks and assign responsibilities to crew members
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Monitor work progress and quality standards
  • Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment
  • Train and mentor workers on proper construction methods
  • Communicate project updates to managers, inspectors, and clients
  • Resolve on-site issues and delays efficiently
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation

Minimum Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (trade certification preferred)
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with construction equipment and tools
  • OSHA certification may be required

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supervising crews on residential, commercial, or industrial projects
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Experience with scheduling and project management software

Work Environment

  • Outdoor and indoor construction sites
  • Physically demanding work
  • May require overtime, weekends, or travel depending on project schedules
