Job Title: Construction Inspector
Job Description:
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure that construction projects comply with building codes, regulations, and standards
- Review plans and specifications to verify compliance with legal requirements
- Document and report any violations or issues discovered during inspections
- Communicate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to address concerns and provide guidance
- Inspect structural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems for safety and quality
- Prepare detailed reports outlining inspection findings and recommendations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Certification as a Building Inspector is preferred
- Proven experience in construction inspection or a related field
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
